PSA UPDATE: Double XP Live: All Call of Duty Games

UDPATE – It’s live, go forth and farm XP.

Never got those Prestige levels in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Call of Duty: World at War? Don’t worry, they’ve got you covered. Starting Oct. 27th, all Call of Duty games will have Double XP enabled. The reason?

Hey COD Gamers.

Right as I keep seeing people posting and don’t know what they are talking about I will explain this in the most easiest way =)

OK so it works like this…

You will get ONE token per Call Of Duty game since Call Of Duty: Modern warfare 1. So if you prestiged in COD4,COD5,MW2 & Black Ops then on MW3 you will get 4 Prestige tokens to use in the shop. As its ONE token for Prestiging at least once in each one of them.

ok so does that claer everything up for you all ? If not just comment with what you still dont get and I will reply.

P.S. starting October 27th Double XP will be turned on for COD4, COD5, MW2 and Black Ops for the weekend to help you get that prestige if you still need to.

Q&A. Updated: 24th October 2011

Q. I no longer have COD4,5, MW2 or Black ops will I still get the tokens ?

A. Yes as long as you are using the same account that you used to play and Prestige.

Q. I played and Prestige on a PS3 or Xbox but now play on a Xbox or PS3 will i be able to still get my tokens in MW3 on 360/PS3 ?

A. No the tokens are NOT! cross platform you will only get the tokens for E.g. MW3 on 360 if you have played one of the four Call Of Duty games on the same console with the same account.

Q. Can I use the tokens in the Prestige Shop in MW3 with out Prestiging in MW3 first ?

A. The way the Prestige Shop in Modern Warfare 3 works is it will not show until you have Prestige at least ONCE. So to unlock the Prestige shop you will have to Prestige in MW3 first.

Q. Do I have to be 10th or 15th Prestige in one of the four Call Of Duty Games to get a token ?

A. Nope as long as you have prestige once you will be fine. You don’t even have to be top Level in that prestige.

Q. I got into a Hacked Lobby on one of the four Call Of Duty games will I still get my token/s ?

A. Yes you would still get the token’s

Q. I got my account reset back to Lvl 1 No Prestige would I still get my token from that COD ?

A. No you would have to Prestige again on that Call Of Duty Game.

Q. Will I be able to Prestige in any of the Call Of Duty Games after November 8th and still get my token ?

A. Yes you can Prestige in any of the 4 Call Of Duty games before or after November 8th 2011 and you will still get the tokens.

Q. to get my tokens in MW3 do I have to link my Xbox GamerTag or PSN ID to anything ?

A. This should not be a problem no. As long as you link the GamerTag or ID to you’re Call Of Duty account and you have Prestiged before Novmber 8th 2011. MW3 will then just get all the info it needs from the COD servers and should reward you with some tokens.
