Joe Puopolo – Rayman Origins has finally returned to its original 2D roots and does it ever look gorgeous. This is definitely one of the most artistically pleasing showcases of this console generation. Ubisoft has perfectly implanted a harmonious and vibrant visual package, which is sure to bestow gamers with delightful feelings. Some of the areas players will encounter are tropical areas of plants bursting with rich shades of color, murky underwater caverns that are thriving with aquatic life forms, and slippery icy tundra plains. The game’s visuals are so stunning that its borderline distracting, causing the urge to stop and appreciate its detail. Rayman Origins is an exceptionally crafted 2D masterpiece and a true indulgence for the eyes.
