Today BioWare revealed a majority of the cast for the highly anticipated sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 3.

In addition to the return of such high profile actors as Martin Sheen (The Illusive Man), Seth Green (Joker), and Carrie-Anne Moss (Aria) we’ve also been introduced to newcomers Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jessica Chobot.

Prinze Jr., well known for his roles in films such as She’s All That and I Know What You Did Last Summer, voices Lieutenant James Vega: a fellow Alliance Marine who joins Shepard’s team during the defense of Earth. It might seem a little strange that a once 1990s heart-throb is coming on board but Prinze Jr. seems to be plenty excited for and all about the game….

Chobot on the other hand might be a name unfamiliar with many of you out there. If it does ring a bell then you’re no doubt familiar with G4′s television channel and website where she regularly appears on Attack of the Show in addition to writing plenty of articles for the gaming network. Jessica provides the voice and physical appearance for Diana Allers – a reporter who can join the player on the Normandy and even act as a romance option for both male and female player characters.

Aside from those already mentioned Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale will obviously be reprising their roles as male and female Shepard respectively, the always beautiful Tricia Helfer returns as EDI, Yvonne Strahovski comes back with Miranda, and Ali Hillis, Kieth David, and Lance Henrikson round out the revealed cast as Liara T’Soni, Captain Anderson, and Admiral Stephan Hackett.

Mass Effect 3 hits stores on March 6th 2012 for the Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3. Look for the demo as well on February 14th – you can bet that someone here at Addicted-Gamers will share their impressions.
