Metal Gear Solid 3D Demo Available This Week
If you been looking forward to getting hands-on with Metal Gear Solid 3D, you’ll get your chance this week in the form of a free demo. The demo should be available this Thursday on the Nintendo eShop.
Metal Gear Solid 3D is a re-worked version of the excellent Playstation 2 title Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (originally released about 7 years ago). Developed under the watchful eye of Hideo Kojima, the stealth action title, optimized for 3DS, will take advantage of the device’s 3D and touchscreen functionality. In addition, it will also make use of the 3DS’s camera, allowing players to take pictures of real life items and turn those photos into usable in-game camouflage. Whether this means Snake will go unnoticed lying in a grassy knoll disguised as a pepsi can is yet to been seen, but it should be an enjoyable distraction. The title will also be one of the few games to utilize the Circle Pad Pro peripheral, which you can read Joe’s review of here.
Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater will be available February 21 this year, only on the 3DS.
