PlayStation Network Down for Maintenance on March 1 [Updated]

PSN Logo

Tomorrow the PlayStation Network will have its annual maintenance period from 8am to 10pm PST. Unlike previous maintenance, the PSN will go completely dark; no account management, no Playstation Store, no PlayStation Home, and no online gaming. If you are signed in, you will just be signed out, so there’s no planning ahead on this one.

Similarly, PSN enabled websites, like the PlayStation Blog, will be down, too, which only means you won’t be able to sign in. The PlayStation Twitter will be giving a notice when the service is back online. Until then, stock up on offline content or go outside, whichever.

Update: “Tomorrow’s scheduled PSN maintenance has been postponed. We’ll update¬†everyone once it’s rescheduled. Until then, game on,” PlayStation posted via twitter.
