EA Named “Worst Company In America” by website The Consumerist
Over 250,000 consumers voted on who they think the worst company in America is and EA beat out Bank of America in the final round. While EA has faced plenty of scrutiny in the past it’s also interesting to wonder how many of those votes came from fans who were recently enraged by the ending to Mass Effect 3. Whether it was a little or a lot the fact remains that EA is obviously not doing nearly enough to keep their consumers happy.
John Reseburg of EA told Gamasutra: “We’re sure that bank presidents, oil, tobacco, and weapons companies are all relieved they weren’t on the list this year. We’re going to continue making award-winning games and services played by more than 300 million people worldwide.”
I’m fairly confident that remarks like that aren’t going to be winning EA any more fans.
