Mass Effect 3 “Extended Cut” DLC To Release This Summer

Mass Effect 3

EA announced this morning that a free “Extended Cut” DLC will be released for Mass Effect 3 sometime this summer. Here is what Bioware co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka had to say:

“With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc.”

Apparently the free DLC will expand on the outcomes of the endings with new cinematics to provide players with more closure to their playthroughs.  The “Extended Cut” DLC will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC later this summer.
