Minecraft Pocket Edition’s Latest Update Adds Basic Crafting
Since Minecraft Pocket Edition’s release, customers have been seemingly bewildered and, at times, completely irate that this version of the game doesn’t share all the features of the PC version. But, unreasonable customer reviews aside, each update to the game has been slowly filling in all the aspects that fans crave, and the latest one, finally, adds crafting to IOS and Android mobile versions.
The crafting will be slightly different, however, as the mobile interface, named MATTIS (Minecraft Advanced Touch Technology Interface System) is built to compliment touch controls. Also included in this update: refined AI for zombies, cows and ducks, and descriptions for inventory items. Everything at this point is very basic – there’s limited resources, few enemy types and water doesn’t behave quite right – but it appears things are headed in the right direction, and we look forward to future updates.
