The Future of Monster Hunter in NA is ‘Very Bright’ Says Capcom

The North American audience will likely never match the outstanding success that the Monster Hunter franchise has achieved within Japan. However, there’s still a strong cult following here in NA, who are spending countless hours slaying prehistoric beasts. Capcom is well aware of this and has finally opened its mouth in regards to the future of the dino-hunting series in the Americas. During a live Q&A session, Capcom’s Christian Svennson discussed the possibility of Monster Hunter 3G hitting stateside. He had the following to say:

“I can’t tell you definitively yes or no at this point in time. The reality is, obviously we’ve not brought over Portable 3rd, we’ve not brought brought over Portable 3rd HD. At this point, we have not brought over Tri G on 3DS, so when I say this you may look at me as if I have three heads, but trust me, the future of Monster Hunter in the west is very bright. It’s just not clear yet.”

“You’re going to be okay. Just trust me. We need a little more time to make clear what the next phase is.”

I guess anxious hunters must remain patient just a little while longer. Hopefully Capcom will deliver the good news soon. For more information, check out the link below.
