Bioware officially announced Dragon Age III: Inquisition earlier this morning. A lot of rumor and speculation has been swirling around the gaming space for a little while now in regards to a third Dragon Age title, but now we have actual confirmation along with a couple details.

Bioware has been working on the new Dragon Age game in some form for about 2 years now, and many people that worked on the previous Dragon Age titles are also working on this one, along with some new developers.

They are also working on a new engine to be used for Dragon Age III. DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine is the foundation for this new engine that Bioware will be making.

No release date or platform details have been revealed as of yet, but check back in with us as more information will undoubtedly be revealed in the coming months.
