Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a port of a PlayStation 2 title that released back in 2004. The game originally began as concept to demonstrate the capabilities of the 3DS. The game has not changed much from its PS2 days.  The graphics appear slightly more polished than the PS2 original, but the 3DS has evidently proved in other recent releases that it is capable of much more. It also does not help that the game was only just recently released as part of the Metal Gear Solid Collection in HD.
