The surprisingly beautiful blocky world of Minecraft has had its lengthy tenure on PC and we’ve seen its popularity blast into the stratusfere. Meanwhile, curious console folk have observed from afar in envy, at times settling for one of the numerous XBLA clones. But they’ll get their chance. Oh yes! They will. Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition will be trekking its (predictably record shattering) way to the Xbox Live Arcade on May 9 for 1600 MSP.

In celebration of that moment, when you finally break from the sadness of listening to others at the lunch table speak of their cubey adventures and say “No more!”, we have a launch trailer from the guys at H.A.T. Films. It’s cheery, it has a pleasant remix of one of Minecraft’s familiar tunes and it focuses mostly on the 360 version’s support of cooperative play.

Maybe to avoid the risk of upsetting your friends just wisper “No more”. You may need them later.
