Bethesda Owns All Rights To A Fallout MMO

It appears that all of the conflict surrounding the rights of a Fallout MMO between Bethesda and Interplay has finally come to a head. As reported by Eurogamer, the intellectual property rights now rest solely with Bethesda, with Interplay’s license to make a Fallout MMO being completely nullified. However, there is a pretty hefty settlement of $2 million being paid to Interplay by Bethesda parent company, Zenimax.

Skyrim Update 1.2 Released

Bethesda announced Skyrim’s update 1.2 yesterday. This update comes with many much needed fixes, and will surely be welcomed by rabid fans pained by random crashes and bugged quests. The change log isn’t as long as many expected it to be, but it’s definitely a good start.

The most contentious bug for Xbox 360, regarding textures not swapping from lower to higher res if the game is installed on the hard drive, has been resolved in this update.  Also, a maddening bug on PC causing a hard crash if the audio sample rate is set to anything other than 44100Hz has been resolved.
